According to the data from Government Administration for Protection of Cultural Heritage, Conservation department Rijeka, the area of Lovran district records a significant cultural-historical heritage. Three urban, one rural unit and three individual buildings are recorded and protected as the immovable monuments of culture.

  • Opatija, formal decision about the Registration of the monument of culture, nr. 391/3-1969
  • Veprinac, formal decision about the Registration of the monument of culture, nr. 388/1-1968
  • Volosko, formal decision about the Registration of the monument of culture, nr. 178/-1967.

• Village settlements (Rural units):
  • Mala Učka, formal decision about the Registration of the monument of culture, nr. 542/1-1976

• Individual buildings:
  • - St. Jacob`s Church with a monastery, formal decision about the Registration of the monument of culture, nr. MP/351-2-1987
  • "Zora" building, formal decision about the Registration of the monument of culture, nr. 01-64/6-1970.
  • "Villa Rosalija", formal decision about the Registration of the monument of culture, nr. IP-230/7-1971.
