GABONJIN - the village unit of the settlement is of a scattered type, with autonomous house plots. One house plot constitutes of one or more independent structures with outhouses. The house plot area is delimited with drystone walls, those enclosures being a part of the spatial unit. The architectural characteristics are shown in stone houses, single-storeyed or two-storeyed ones, having a gable roof covered with half-round tiles, with pronounced stone vaultings, terraces and stone staircases, and massive chimneys constructed in diverse forms. The outhouses are chiefly made in drystone technique, with vegetable covering in the original form. The spatial organization emphasizes the strong agricultural tradition of the settlement, in addition to the older - cattle-breeding culture.
